Opened in May 2021, Dasan Seonggwak Library is a remodeled hanok located at the edge of the Hanyangdoseong Fortress. While preserving the beauty of traditional Korean architecture, the interior has been reinterpreted with eco-friendly elements such as steel bookshelves, an indoor garden, a terrace, and large windows overlooking the fortress. The outdoor yard and tiered seating areas provide spaces for reading, relaxation, and performances, making it a unique cultural venue in Jung-gu, Seoul.
