Details
“Palace of Joy” in Persian, Dilkusha was built in the 1920s by American journalist Albert W. Taylor and his wife Mary L. Taylor. Rebuilt in the 1930s, the house stood through the Japanese occupation and the Korean War before being forgotten. Rediscovered in 2005 by their son, Bruce T. Taylor, it now showcases restored living spaces and exhibitions that highlight Korea’s modern history, architecture, and international exchange.
