Opened in 2013, the Seoul branch of the MMCA(National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art) was created by remodeling the former Jongchinbu(Office for Royal Relatives in the Joseon Dynasty) and Army Security Command buildings. It features contemporary art exhibitions, education, films, and performances, with facilities such as the MMCA Film & Video, Multi-Project Hall, and Digital Information Room. Located near Samcheong-ro and Gyeongbokgung, it harmonizes tradition and modernity.
